Dixie DIY T-shirt

I made this T-shirt from Dixie DIY in February and I wore it immediately! I really like it, however next time I will add a couple of cm because it was a bit short for me.

It is made in a patterned jersey, and I will use it both to dressy and casual events.
The pattern instructions were simple and Dixie had tips for sewing with knits, both over at her blog and included in the pattern.
The T-shirt is really simple, and just take a hour or so to make. And the greatest thing of all is that it is a free pdf pattern! Just print out and start sewing!

Thank you for this pattern Dixie!

Socks #1

So in November I didn't live at home much, because my grandparents spend the month in Spain.
Yarn: Järbo's Raggi
Pattern: from here
Color: 1538 (dark green, light brown, dark brown, white-beige)
Grams: 150 g

The strips became a bit un even, with one row or so, but you can't really see it.

The yarn is really comfy! Love it so much that I've already started with my second pair with the same yarn! (Also stripes, but pink and purple)

The pattern description was hard to under stand when I started the heal, but it was simple before and after it :)

I'll definitely be making more of these socks! To: my family and friends: expect a pair next christmas :)

1 Month celebrates with promo on new projects

This Monday I haven't been buying any clothes for a whole month! (And that's hard for me...) Instead I have been spending my ,money on fabrics! And here is my three new projects (the ones I bought fabrics to):

Simplicity 2254 that i bought for 9 SEK ($1.5) on Tradera (Swedish version of Ebay) last week. I can't find any pictures on it because it's from 1978. But it is a dress with ties for the shoulders and a flounce in the bottom of the dress.

Next project is the Butterick 5064 Dress (version B)! That I found in my mum's stash.  It's simple but classy, and here is a picture:
And at last, The Sorbetto top from Collette patterns!

Patterns from mums collection

The other day, me and my mum were watching the Swedish Ebay (Tradera). I was about to do a bid on a pattern to a dress and she said, "Well, just go and look through my stash!"

Of course I didn't find the patterns she was taking about, but I found 7 great patterns!

1. Butterick 5064 - Set of cardigan, dress, tank top, pants and a skirt! All easy patterns!
2. Butterick 5088 - 9 different versions of a hoodie! All easy patterns!
3. New Look 6167 - A jumpsuit, jacket, pants a.s.o.
4. Stil 9070 - 3/4 pants, whole pants and a sweater.
5. Burda 6956 - jumpsuit with suspenders. With pockets or without! Super-easy!
6. Stil 8974 - A jumpsuit and a knee long dress, all with singoalla arms!
7. Butterick 4787 - 5different t-shorts, sewaters or tank tops with or without collar! Easy pattern!

This is all for today my friends, now I have a couple of garments to finish, but then I'll start sewing this stuff!

Cheerleading uniform

I would love to do one of these cheerleading uniforms, most of all because I always wanted to be a cheerleader as a kid.
The reasons why I haven't done 'em yet, are; 1. I have no money. 2. I don't have a pattern
!

So my question to you is, Where can I find a free pattern on a cheerleading uniform, or in other case a cheap one?

Free Knitt and Crotchet pattern

You can find really beautiful stuff on this page. It's a Swedish page but their patterns are also in Danish, German, Norweighan and Finish!

It's driven buy a Swedish company called Järbo Garn, that sells yarn as well. Right know I'm creating this jersey with the "Järbo Garn Pippitröja" pattern:
