Pausing

Right now I'm taking a pause from this blog since I have stuff to figure out and feel like this blog isn't updated as often as I want to right now. So byebye for now and I will hopefully get back here later...

Swedish Brownie Cupcake

"Swedish brownies are called ”kladdkaka” in Swedish which means stickycake. So you wonder what is the difference between regular brownies and Swedish brownies. There are two big differences sugar and baking powder. Swedish brownies have more sugar and no baking powder, which causes a more dense and sticky brownie. This brownie is hard on the outside and sticky on the inside.

Also this brownie takes about 10 minutes to whip together it makes and excellent quick dessert that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen." Delishhh.com

So it was an explanation about "kladdkaka" and here is why I pasted it: I've made cupcakes! This is actually the first time since school started that I don't have a weekend filed with homeworks! 

And here is the recipe in Swedish and here is it in English (I do not own the recipe):
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 50 g butter
- 0.5 dl food oil (I used raps)
- 1 dl light syrup
- 2 dl wheat flour
- 1 dl cacao
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt

1. Put the oven on 175°C, convection oven.
2. Whip the egg and sugar.
3. Melt the butter, put in the syrup and oil. Mix. Put it in the egg-sugar, whip.
4. Mix flour, vanilla sugar, cacao, baking powder and salt.  Put it in the egg-sugar bowl. Whip.
5. Put the batter in normal big cupcake forms, 2/3 should be filled.
6. Put it in oven and wait for 20 minutes.
And don't worry, they will fall down when you take them out.

Christmas is almost here?

Hello guys, I know you haven't heard of me in a while, but as always I have been busy with school and trying to learn how to crochet but how easy it is when I'm never at home?

Well right know I'm going to take my almost ready knitted sock and make it doen so I have a whole pair. I'll need it, is already getting really cold here in Sweden.

Next week I will start making the christmas presents for real, I have started a bit, but I have alot left! Good that it is a month left!

Denmark '11 - Tuesday

As you may know, I'm in Denmark right know with my family + my aunt and her family. We have rented a house just outside of Rødby and came here on Saturday! Which is great because today we spend our time at Lalandia, a resort with adventure pools! I rally loved it, and have been there like 5 times, but now they have rebuilt it and I have really fun despite my company of a 8,10 and 12 year old! :)

I have now, finally charged the batteries to my camera, so tomorrow I'll have pics for y'all. And by the way, tomorrow will be spend outside the borders of Denmark, because we are going shopping in Germany. (Adults will buy alcohol, children will by sweets).

'well, I'm here

I have now been gone from bloging and sewing for a while, I have been on a music camp!

Tomorrow, the summer official ends (what summer? I live in Sweden) because school starts, and there is only 3 years left until university! So, know I have to begin to study hard!

What I wanted to say is that in the near future there will be more personal things on the blog, because I don't have the time to sew... (But I'm planing to try the Sorbetto top today!)

Just wanted to say that I can't show you guys things I have done before Thursday, when I'm back from Stockholm! Going there with school and leaving at 4.30 tomorrow morning. I'll be back home at Thursday, but now I'm going to spend a great time with my friends!
