Simplicity 2254

I made this dress from a 70's pattern from Simplicity that I bought cheap on Ebay. The fabric is some type of non stretch synthetic fabric that I bought last summer.
There is a ruffle on the bottom of the dress that makes it about 25 cm longer. Next time I will do it without the ruffle, because now it ends a decimeter below the knee. And because I'm short, it isn't as nice as you may think.
The dress is hold up by straps that you tie. Although there is elastic thread it can not be held up only by the elastic.
Normally I am a 38, but this dress in 36 do actually fit very well. I saw that the dress without the ruffle would be a great dress! I'll do that next time.

1 Month celebrates with promo on new projects

This Monday I haven't been buying any clothes for a whole month! (And that's hard for me...) Instead I have been spending my ,money on fabrics! And here is my three new projects (the ones I bought fabrics to):

Simplicity 2254 that i bought for 9 SEK ($1.5) on Tradera (Swedish version of Ebay) last week. I can't find any pictures on it because it's from 1978. But it is a dress with ties for the shoulders and a flounce in the bottom of the dress.

Next project is the Butterick 5064 Dress (version B)! That I found in my mum's stash.  It's simple but classy, and here is a picture:
And at last, The Sorbetto top from Collette patterns!

Graduation Dress

I'm actually going to start on my graduation dress today, well I sort of have to because graduation is about a month away. Nobody is really going to see it more then on our breakfast and after the ceremony. Because I'm in an International school we are wearing caps and gowns! I'm going to use a pattern from BurdaStyle 3/2011. It looks like this:
